Ninella torquata

A very large and heavy shell. Dull grey with oblique axial lamellae.

Size: to 100mm.

Intertidally and subtidally on rocky shores.

Northern New South Wales to southern Western Australia. The Western Australian specimens have been called Ninella whitleyi.
