Astraea tentoriiformis

A conical shell with a flat base, usually eroded or covered in marine growths. Colour pink if not eroded.

Size: up to 50mm.

Intertidally down to about 5m on large stones.

Central Queensland to southern Western Australia. Not recorded from Tasmania.
