This shell is often mistaken for a small abalone, but lacks the row of holes on the shoulder.
Size: up to 50 mm, but mostly smaller. Common intertidally on rocky shores. The animal is white and possesses numerous tentacles around the edges of the mantle.
New South Wales to southern Western Australia.
